Product Owner Media Supply Chain
In 2016 my automation story begins with a rudimentary but promising first integration of Camunda 7 into a Media Asset Management landscape with a big player in MAM solutions in Germany. By 2020 the integrations evolved to a decent Media Supply Chain covering already a vast number of media related processes like ingest, housekeeping and metadata enrichment processes. My international projects partners where all in already hiring their own automation pros to start developing their own automations. In 2022 I got the chance to support ZDF Studios with their homebrew solution based on SAAS and API integrations connected by Camunda 8 SAAS. So moving from broadcasters focused on Sports and News we have a different environment to manage with a small team facing another kind of complexity in the Rights & Licensing business.
